First trip to Grabba and Nonni's

This was of Grayson worn out after our shopping trip and showing off his new hat!

First, I need to explain why there are so few pictures on this post. Anyone who knows my family knows how camera happy both of my parents are. I've gotten in a bad habit of just not taking many pictures when they're around because they take SO many and it's just easier to get copies of theirs. Anyways, they did almost all of the picture taking there and I'm still waiting on Mom to send them to me;) Hint, hint!!!

We loaded everything up a couple of weekends ago and started heading southbound 35. Justin was able to get off early that day so we made really good time. We got there in time to surprise my mom at her school just as school was getting out. She had a ball showing Grayson off to all her friends and he loved all the attention. He smiled and giggled at every one of those teachers. I even saw some of my dear friends that stuck around to see us. It was great to see Denise and her two youngest, Nicholas and Emily.

We did discover that Mom is not going to do all that cooking we're used to anymore when we're there! That just took way to much time away from playing with Grayson:) Grandaddy came over and loved holding him again. Gabby, their spoiled cocker that has a bit of a jealous tendency, even loved Grayson. We were all schocked!

On Saturday Mom and I took Grayson shopping at the Round Rock outlets. He got some cute clothes for fall, not that he needed any!

At church the next day we got to see lots of friends who were so excited to meet Grayson. You can't go to Austin without a trip to Trudy's so that was a must for lunch before we left! Daniel and Jamie came to lunch with us and I have no idea what I was thinking, but I didn't get any pictures with them:-( Daniel has been a close friend of ours for a LONG time now and we're so glad we're able to stay in touch with them and for them to be a part of Grayson's life as well!

It was a great relaxing weekend that just went by way too fast and maybe if Mom will ever send me the pictures I'll upload them on here!
